Sewing classes in Liège
You will dive head first into the world of couture in the heart of the Liège basin, in Chaudfontaine. On the menu, there is something for all levels (and tastes): introduction to sewing for beginners, making a reversible vest for the more advanced, up to making your own kimono.
Patterns to go along with your courses
Each pattern tells a story: that of a garment imagined, constructed, and then worn with pride. I design them as detailed guides for every step, but with the freedom for you to add your own creative touch.
Sewing lessons for beginners
Free sewing and alterations workshop
You already have your own sewing machine and a pattern that you have been working on for weeks, even months, but… You feel like you are no longer moving forward. This 3-hour workshop is specially designed to get you out of the impasse.
- Personalized advice for each student
- Workshop equipped with all the necessary equipment: cutting table, sewing machines, overlocker, ironing board with steam generator, etc.
- Repairs and alterations on all types of clothing and accessories
Intermediate sewing training
You feel that you have reached a milestone and that you want to go further in creating clothes and accessories. These sewing training courses teach you how to make pieces that are more difficult to handle due to their fabric material, their texture and the diversity of elements to assemble (buttons, buttonholes, button tabs, zippers).
Sewing masterclass for advanced people
You already have a few successful projects under your belt and you want to create pieces that require several hours of patience, mastery of quilting, bias work, embroidery. The fabric to handle is larger and the texture more difficult to work with, but that’s not a problem for you, it’s a challenge.
Expert sewing course: create your own basic pattern
In this class you learn step by step how to make a basic bodice or skirt. You also discover the essential principles of model making. Believe me, you won’t see the hours go by!

Why choose my sewing classes?
The courses and various workshops focus on teaching and kindness. For more than 4 years, I have noticed that my students’ greatest fear is not succeeding, regardless of their basic level.
Adapting to your own pace is essential for me so that you gain confidence and naturally progress.
Signing up for a Lenaline sewing class doesn’t just mean leaving with your beautiful, well-finished garment, it’s also:
- Understanding the subtleties of a pattern purchased online
- Being able to cope alone later in the face of unforeseen events
- Know how to handle different fabrics with difficult materials
- Regain confidence in the success of these sewing projects
Where are the sewing courses and masterclasses in Liège?
Frequently asked questions by my students
It all depends on the workshop or masterclass chosen. The price ranges from €35 to €320 depending on preferences and the difficulty of the courses. To start, it’s better to invest in the introductory course at €49 and see if you want to continue with this wonderful practice.
A beginner’s class lasts a minimum of 2 hours. For the more advanced courses like workshops and masterclasses, these are classes lasting up to 5 hours. If you want to do your alterations and progress on your personal sewing projects, I organize this in the form of 3-hour sessions.
There are no prerequisite levels for enrollment in beginner classes. However, if you want to participate in a free sewing workshop or a masterclass, you must already have a few successful projects under your belt.
These are sewing machines and sergers most of the time. There is also a coverstitch machine and an embroidery machine for certain projects.
No, you cannot attend classes for free, but you can still visit the sewing workshops outside of workshop hours upon request by email or via the contact form (and this will be free).
You can check out my YouTube channel where I explain different sewing finishes without a serger.
